City Mews Courtyard
A tiny courtyard for a mews conversion. Previously neglected, unused space with a studio room in the corner.
A garden was created, with a bespoke cycle shed with an extensive green roof to encourage wildlife and native planting.
The garden was laid with charcoal brick pavers to create a dining area, and flint gravel was used to create a small informal bench area, with a cantilever bench.
Brick paver steeping pads lead through the shady planting to the studio door.
Cor-ten lighting was added along the house walls to link to the Cor-ten water drum and the Cor-ten style seating from Fermob.
Planting was informal and naturalistic combined with 3 multi-stem Malus 'Evereste' trees.
